Fee Agreement

The Period of Performance of this Agreement shall commence on the Effective Date and shall automatically renew for additional like periods (“Renewal Periods”) under the same terms of service. The Renewal Fees will be automatically debited from the client’s credit card at the beginning of each renewal period, and you agree that the service provider will not require any additional authorization for any recurring payments or automatic billing options.

The Service (Subscription) is billed in advance on an annual or bi-annual basis from the date of purchase.
All fees will be collected in Australian dollars regardless of your country of origin’s currency exchange rate.
The credit card you provided will automatically be charged on your next billing cycle unless customer has contacted us at thecaptain@mobydickcontent.com to cancel their on-going subscription to The Captain.

Terminations

You are solely responsible for properly cancelling your subscription. We take cancellation requests via email at thecaptain@mobydickcontent.com

Any billing problems or discrepancies must be brought to our attention within thirty (30) days from the date the client is billed. If you do not bring them to our attention within thirty (30) days, you agree that you waive your right to dispute such problems or discrepancies.

Privacy Policy

The Captain is committed to providing quality services to you and this policy outlines our ongoing obligations to you in respect of how we manage your Personal Information. We have adopted the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) contained in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (the Privacy Act). The NPPs govern the way in which we collect, use, disclose, store, secure and dispose of your Personal Information.

What is Personal Information and why do we collect it?

This Personal Information is obtained in many ways including by telephone and mobile, by email, via our website thecaptain.tv, subscribing to The Captain newsletter, and from third parties. We don’t guarantee website links or policy of authorised third parties.

We collect your Personal Information for the primary purpose of providing our services to you, providing information to our clients and marketing. We may also use your Personal Information for secondary purposes closely related to the primary purpose, in circumstances where you would reasonably expect such use or disclosure. You may unsubscribe from our mailing/marketing lists at any time by contacting us in writing.

What We Share With Others:

We accept payments through a third party payment provider, Stripe using their payment gateways. When processing payments, some of your data will be passed to Stripe, including information required to process or support the payment, such as the purchase total and billing information.
