Sailfish Catamarans are in birthday mode, celebrating 25 years of building the aluminium twin-hull champions that do the business for Aussie sportsfishers, divers and pleasure boaties. To mark that quarter century, and more than 440 vessels through the door, Sailfish are offering their loyal punters a birthday present (yeah, we know, they’ve got it the wrong way round!) — the first 25 punters who shell out for an extensive upgrade package, worth $17,500, will actually only have to rip $4990 kicking and screaming from their dusty wallets. Good deal!

Operating one of Australia’s most successful marine businesses for so long, it’s fair to say that what the boys at Sailfish don’t know about building aluminium catamarans isn’t worth worrying about. Which means you don’t have much to worry about when you’re out on the deep blue — except where the fish are at. Sailfish cats have a range of cabin specs and layout options to deliver whatever you need, wherever you go — whether that be long-range trek, weekend away or day at the shelf. Seaworthy offshore capability, huge volume, deck space and stability come standard. Plus, Sailfish catamarans weigh a shedload less than similar fibreglass boats. The new Hydroflow GEN3 hull delivers reliably super-quick hole shot performance, while advanced hydrodynamics make for a soft and stable ride.

The NSW Northern Rivers factory pumps out 30 custom-built babies a year, some going to commercial operators and government organisations. With a good rep, business is also good. Sailfish is now exporting to NZ, the US, PNG and, er, Russia.
